A tragic incident has struck the family of NASCAR star Denny Hamlin after a devastating house fire in Gaston County, North Carolina, claimed the life of his father and left his mother critically injured.
According to local authorities, the fire broke out late at night at the family’s residence and quickly spread throughout the home. Dennis Hamlin, the driver’s father, was rescued from the burning house with severe injuries but later died as a result of those injuries.
