BREAKING NEWS: President Trump had a 1 hour, 15 minute call with Vladimir Putin. The Russian president said “very strongly” that “he will have to respond to the recent attack [by Ukraine] on the airfields.”

U.S. President Donald Trump revealed on June 4 that he had a 75-minute phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which they discussed the ongoing war in Ukraine and Iran’s nuclear issue.

Posting on Truth Social, President Trump stated, “We discussed Russian aircraft attacks in Ukraine and other strikes taking place on both sides.”

He added, “It was a good conversation, but not one that will immediately lead to peace.” According to Trump, “President Putin was very firm in saying that they must respond to the recent airbase attacks.”

Putin appeared to convey a clear intent to launch retaliatory strikes following Ukraine’s surprising drone attack, which recently destroyed dozens of Russian aircraft, including long-range bombers.

Trump also noted that he told Putin Iran must not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons, adding that time is running out for Tehran to make a final decision. “I believe we are on the same page,” Trump said.

“President Putin indicated that he would join discussions with Iran and may help bring a quick resolution to the matter,” Trump continued.

“I think Iran has been slow in making critical decisions,” he said. “We will demand a clear answer very soon.”

The call suggests possible intensification in Russian military retaliation against Ukraine, particularly in response to drone strikes on strategic airbases. On the nuclear front, the Trump-Putin alignment could pressure Iran diplomatically, though Tehran’s delayed response remains a concern.

The Trump-Putin dialogue underscores a hardening stance from Moscow amid escalating drone warfare, while also signaling rare coordination on Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
