BREAKING NEWSA driver slammed an SUV into a crowd of Filipino festival goers in Vancouver, Canada, Saturday night, killing multiple people and leaving many more injured, according to authorities.

After a hectic week, my family and I finally had a chance to relax at the Lapu Lapu Filipino Festival. We were enjoying the night when my husband quietly suggested we leave early. I didn’t ask why—I simply followed his lead.
When we got home and saw the news, our hearts sank. A horrific tragedy had struck.
I’m incredibly grateful for God’s protection tonight. We were spared for a reason. We’re safe, and I want to thank all the friends and family who checked in on me & my family🤍
My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the entire Filipino community. 🙏
