Conservatives slammed a California Democratic congressman on social media after he posted a message asking federal officers detaining illegal immigrants in Los Angeles to “get the f— out.”
“ICE get the f— out of LA so that order can be restored,” Rep. Norma Torres posted on TikTok Friday as protests and riots were breaking out over the raids. “This is a sitting member of Congress,” conservative influencer account Libs of TikTok posted on X.
“Torres is a sitting member of Congress and a complete lunatic,” conservative influencer Paul Szypula posted on X.

Conservative influencer Benny Johnson called Torres “deranged” in a post on X and several users, including Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers, called for Torres to be expelled from Congress.
“Arrest her now,” the conservative influencer account Catturd posted on X.
“Found a Communist in Congress,” author James Lindsay posted on X.

This comes as Trump is dealing with promised repercussions for protestors who spit on police officers amid the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles, California.
Hours after sending National Guard troops to Los Angeles, California, President Donald Trump promised repercussions for protestors who spit on police officers.
Speaking to reporters alongside Secretary of State Marco Rubio in New Jersey before boarding Air Force One, the president criticized the protestors’ methods.
On Saturday, he authorized the deployment of at least 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles in response to demonstrations over ICE raids on employers.
Trump told reporters that he is considering invoking the Insurrection Act in response to the riots and chaos.
A new report reveals one of the main groups behind the anti-ICE demonstrators on the streets of Los Angeles on Sunday, which has led to many insulting and harassing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
Former Vice President Kamala Harris was on the wrong side of the illegal immigration issue during her failed attempt to prevent President Donald Trump from winning a second presidential term, and she remains on the wrong side now as riots aimed at blocking immigration enforcement efforts in Los Angeles spiraled out of control over the weekend.
Harris issued a statement condemning President Trump’s use of the California National Guard to help restore order in the troubled city after Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democratic Mayor Karen Bass refused to step in as federal agents were being attacked and assaulted.
“Los Angeles is my home. And like so many Americans, I am appalled at what we are witnessing on the streets of our city,” Harris began. “Deploying the National Guard is a dangerous escalation meant to provoke chaos.
“In addition to the recent ICE raids in Southern California and across our nation, it is part of the Trump Administration’s cruel, calculated agenda to spread panic and division,” she said, adding that the protests were “mostly peaceful” despite widespread destruction to ICE and Border Patrol vehicles, the injuring of ICE personnel, and the burning and looting of shops in downtown L.A.
“This Administration’s actions are not about public safety — they’re about stoking fear,” she went on to falsely claim.
The statement comes after President Donald Trump federalized just shy of 2,000 California National Guard troops, while Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth put another 500 U.S. Marines located nearby at Camp Pendleton on standby.
