Stockton, California — A children’s birthday celebration turned into a tragic scene after gunfire erupted during a gathering attended by dozens of families.
According to local authorities, the incident occurred during a birthday party where many adults and children were present. Witnesses said the celebration was underway with music, food, and gifts when gunshots suddenly rang out, sending guests into panic.
Police confirmed that four people were killed and more than a dozen others were injured. Several victims were taken to nearby hospitals, with some reported to be in critical condition.
