Kelley Mack, best known for her role as Addy on The Walking Dead, died on August 2, 2025, in Cincinnati, weeks after her 33rd birthday. Her family announced the news on CaringBridge and Instagram, sharing she “passed peacefully” with her mother and aunt by her side.
Mack had been battling a rare and aggressive brain cancer, diffuse midline glioma, which left her largely reliant on a wheelchair after surgery. Despite her diagnosis, she remained hopeful, often updating fans on Instagram about her treatments and moments of joy with loved ones.
Born Kelley Lynne Klebenow, she grew up in Ohio and Illinois before earning a cinematography degree from Chapman University. She built a career in Los Angeles, appearing in Chicago Med, Broadcast Signal Intrusion, 9-1-1, and contributing to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
She is survived by her parents, siblings, grandparents, and her boyfriend, Logan Lanier. A remembrance service will be held on August 16 in Glendale, Ohio, with a Los Angeles celebration planned later.
Her death follows the recent passing of TV legend Loni Anderson, 79, known for WKRP in Cincinnati, marking a week of deep loss in Hollywood.
